Selected, which tours six UK venues from May to June 2012, showcases work by some of the best emerging UK film and video artists, in a diverse moving image programme. Each of the shortlisted artists for the 2011 Film London Jarman Award – Ed Atkins; Clio Barnard; Claire Hooper; Anja Kirschner & David Panos; Hilary Koob-Sassen; Torsten Lauschmann; Elizabeth Price; Laure Prouvost; Imogen Stidworthy; and Corin Sworn – have selected their pick of up-and-coming artist filmmaking talent, to create an invigorating new programme of work.
Confirmed artists in the 2012 screening programme include: Anonymous Bosch, Nicholas Keogh, Benedict Drew, Markus Soukup, Francis Summers, Una Knox, Andy Lacey, Charlotte Prodger, Alexis Milne, and Daniel Swan.
Each screening event includes featured filmmakers introducing their work, with an opportunity to ask the artists questions and talk to them about their films.
